More About the Project
In this ASICS project for the Vintage Tech collection, the goal was to capture, through sound, the intersection between innovation and retro aesthetics — the energy, rhythm, and attitude that define the film. The narrative explores not only the lightness and performance of the sneaker but also the urban mindset and futuristic nostalgia that guide the collection. Sound played a crucial role in the immersion — from footsteps and textures of technical fabric to layers of synths and electronic percussion, accentuating every cut and movement.
Softwares I've Used
As the music composer, sound designer and audio artist, we were responsible for crafting the entire musics and sonic landscape of the film.
Tools used include:
FL Studio – for music production, editing, mixing, and mastering audio Soundtoys, FabFilter & Ozone plugins – for creative sound design and precision audio sculpting RC-20 Retro Color & Super VHS - for vintage textures Endless Smile & Valhalla plugins - for reverb and ambience Krotos Studio - to create the right sound effects and ambiances Splice - to find some audio and music samples to fill the tracks
